Here’s this weeks team of the week courtesy of Ollie…
GK: De Gea (Man Utd) – several crucial saves with lots of different body parts, kept united in the game
LB: Cresswell (West Ham) – constant threat and solid in defence, gave Valencia problems.
CB: Bruce (Hull) – been out of the team for long periods Because his dad thinks he’s abit rubbish and afraid of nepotism. Made some crucial interceptions and blocks.
CB: Kouyate (West Ham) – recently back from AFCON , usually a midfielder but the former Anderlecht man filled in well at CB, had Falceo in his pocket and topped his performance off with a fine skilful finish.
RB: Invanovic (Chelsea) – he can play all across the back four (playing at his preferred RB this weekend) Cissoko couldn’t handle him and he scored a fine goal on the half volley.
CDM: Henderson (Liverpool) – commanding physical performance in a tough atmosphere, steadied the ship at times whilst playing some incisive balls forward. A shoe in for the next Liverpool captain.
CDM: Song (West Ham) – once again shut down an opposing midfield, made some crucial interceptions and was a dominating presence against Rooney and Di Maria. Won’t be in east London next season.
CAM: Mane (Southampton) – has scored a lot of goals from inside forward positions for previous teams and has started too trouble premier league defences with tricks, pace and directness. Injury time winner.
LW: Ibe (Liverpool) – had a solid loan spell for Derby during the first half of the season scoring 5 goals, second start for Liverpool, big stage and he didn’t disappoint, hit the post from distance.
RW: Willian – (Chelsea) – Worked hard in defence and attack, created chances, Cuadrado will struggle to oust him.
ST: Kane (Spurs) – Two goals, always a threat, fan favourite, the inform English striker at the moment, what can’t this lad do. He’s one of our own.
